Custom LED displays engineered for clear views, distinctive venues and outdoor performance.
A shaped display beside the action. A luminous sphere welcoming visitors to a theme park. An architectural landmark that gives an entertainment destination its identity. ZORQ develops sports and entertainment LED display solutions around the way people see, approach and experience a venue.
From indoor sports settings to outdoor attractions, display geometry, structural requirements and operating conditions are considered together.

A Clear View from Across the Venue
In a sports or entertainment setting, the display needs to work for more than one viewing position.
Some visitors approach from nearby walkways. Others look across a plaza or watch from distant seating. The design process starts by identifying these viewing distances and directions, then selecting a suitable screen size, pixel pitch and content layout.
Fine detail that works at close range may lose its meaning from farther away. Text size, contrast and the amount of information on screen should therefore reflect the intended audience position. For outdoor installations, brightness is specified with ambient light and the display’s orientation in mind.
Custom geometry adds another consideration. A sphere presents different parts of its surface to people moving around it, while a shaped architectural screen may have one principal approach. Content needs to follow those conditions so that key imagery remains recognizable where it matters.
ZORQ’s custom-shaped LED displays allow the visual form to develop around the venue, with viewing requirements informing the engineering brief.
Put Structural Engineering into the Proposal
A landmark display needs a clear relationship with the structure supporting it.
Display weight, mounting positions and maintenance access should be established early. For outdoor projects, wind exposure, local snow conditions and the proposed installation height also need to inform the structural design.
ZORQ develops the display assembly with these requirements in view, allowing connection details to be coordinated with the venue’s structural team. Where a screen attaches to existing steelwork, the interface needs to account for both the display system and the supporting structure.
For spherical LED displays, diameter and cabinet segmentation affect the assembly approach as well as the finished appearance. Supporting frames, connection points and access routes must work within the curved form.
Addressing these details during the proposal stage gives the project team a practical basis for reviewing feasibility, planning installation and coordinating work on site.

Built Around the Local Climate
Outdoor performance begins with the conditions of the site.
Rain, dust, humidity, temperature changes and exposure to corrosive environments place different demands on a display. Enclosure protection, surface treatment and thermal management should be specified around those conditions.
Sealing details need to work across cabinet joints and service openings. Airflow and heat dissipation must suit the screen’s geometry, installation position and expected operating environment. Cold-weather projects also require temperature conditions to be considered when selecting components and planning operation.
Maintenance deserves the same attention. Where suitable, front-service access allows individual modules to be reached from the display face, helping reduce the need for extensive rear access. The final approach depends on installation height, site restrictions and the supporting structure.
ZORQ’s custom LED display manufacturing capabilities connect these requirements with cabinet design, assembly, calibration and factory testing. The aim is a display that can be operated and maintained within the realities of its location.
Display Forms for Sports and Leisure Destinations

Custom-Shaped Sports Displays
Fit event graphics and venue identity into a defined visual form, with dimensions and pixel pitch selected around audience positions.
Outdoor Spherical LED Displays
Create a focal point for theme parks, entertainment plazas and visitor destinations, with imagery developed for the curved surface.
Architectural LED Landmarks
Integrate a display into an entrance feature or sculptural structure, coordinating the screen geometry with the supporting architecture.
Displays for Fan and Visitor Areas
Bring visual content to gathering spaces, with placement, viewing distance and environmental protection matched to the site.
From Venue Brief to Operation
A successful installation brings visual ambition, structural coordination and operating requirements into one delivery process:
Preliminary Scheme Review → Structural Design Proposal → Sample Section Approval → Production → Installation & Commissioning → Operation & Maintenance Support
The process begins with venue drawings, proposed display dimensions, viewing positions and local environmental conditions. These inputs help establish the screen specification, supporting arrangement and maintenance approach.
Sample sections and factory assembly provide opportunities to review critical interfaces before delivery. On-site installation and commissioning then bring the display into its final setting, with alignment and image checks carried out on the completed assembly.
